These are simple things that one might forget to pack or overlook while preparing for a market. Some listed items are seasonal. Most of these items can be found at Daiso. Happy Vending!
Table Basics
- Tablecloth
- A Banner or Sign with your Business’s Name (some markets might provide this)
- Display Racks (I recommend looking on Pinterest for table setup ideas)
- Display Accessories/ Decor
- Pencil Case: pens, markers, tape, mini memo pads
- Push Pins and Safety Pins (just in case, you never know if you may need these)
- Scissors (It's better to have them than to be without)
- Social Media QR Codes (for instant finds and follows)
- Your Language to Korean Translated Signs
- A Cushion (some chairs are uncomfortable)
- Business Cards (not only for customers but to network with other vendors)
- Inventory Checklist (to keep track of your sales)
Point of Sale Items
- Small Bills for Change (50,000 ~ 100,000 in cheon wons)
- Sign with Bank Account Info for Bank Transfers
- Calculator
- Kakao Pay QR code (an easier payment option)
- Card Reader (if you have one)
- Cash Box (or something to safely keep your money)
- Price Tags
- Sold Out Stickers (or just a memo note)
- Tissue Paper or Bubble Wrap (if needed)
- Protective Packaging (if you're selling art)
